The 2025 excursion will be a 5-day holiday (4 nights) based in Cardiff with daily trips to areas of interest, including the Brecon Mountain Railway. This 9.5-mile round trip takes you into the National Park, through Pontsticill and along the Taf Fechan Reservoir to Torpantau in the Brecon Beacons, the original line's summit. Planned visits include the Big Pit Coal Mining Museum, the Royal Mint Experience, and a Welsh castle. On Wednesday, you have free time to explore Cardiff or take a 20-minute train ride to Barry Island.
