Magdalen College is often designated as the most beautiful of all Oxford colleges. Founded also by a bishop of Winchester in 1458, it has a reputation for high academic standards as well as fine medieval buildings, including the tower and a lovely cloister, and extensive grounds, including a deer park. It has been well described as a grand country house set down in the city of Oxford.
The tour will last approximately one hour.
