Learn about the notorious history Banbury and events and people associated with key locations and buildings. From the world-famous famous Banbury Cross of the nursery rhyme and the statue of the Fine Lady on the White Horse, our route will take us via the 18thC parish church of St Mary, the Reindeer Inn, associated with the Civil War, to the Market Place and the curious story of the founding of the Quakers in the town. The walk is entirely step-free.
